It's always good to pause for a moment to appreciate what you have. But on this day I think we should take a moment to appreciate the turkey too.
Take a look at the picture... Aww, you've got to admit he's kind of cute; in a big gawky sort of way... Well I'm sure the turkeys are very good at what they do.
Wild turkeys can be spotted in wooded areas around upstate NY. We haven't seen them at the new house yet though. Maybe there's not enough woods.

We had two turkeys in the back lawn this afternoon while we were cooking dinner. They had a look of relief on their faces. :)
