Sunday evening twighlight

It was a pleasant end to a fair summer day. Roger and I spent most of the day working in the yard. After a break we returned, and I took up mowing until, when I was about eighty percent finished, I decided to stop because it looked like rain clouds were rolling in, and, more than that, because I couldn't see where I was mowing anymore in the dimming twighlight.
This was the view from the back yard just after I quit:

There's something comforting about the cheerful patio lights, the warm light flooding out of the kitchen windows, and upon closer approach, someone waiting at the back door:

Granted, Samantha was probably more interested in getting herself outside than us coming inside.

I totally agree! Those warm, inviting patio lights seem to do it for me.....and twilight....a perfect time of the day.
